Last weekend and the beginning of this past week, I was having a lot of lower back pains that seemed to stem from the deadlifts from a few weeks ago. Or just the ridiculously difficult workouts that just came pouring in all of a sudden.
So I took a week off, tried to get my back right. It's feeling much better and I look forward to getting my crossfit totals here next friday.
Goals I've met since I last blogged:
- I did 2 completely prescribed workouts for time that included pullups.
- Total pullups that week was 130 kippings, 30 jumping pullups. I did 20 kippings and then switched to jumping pullups during the monday workout, then the 110 kippings wednesday and friday.
- I went up an average 30 pounds on my press and push press. Not maxed out though.
- I've been getting my half mile consistently under 5 min. but my mile is about 13 because my legs are hurting so bad I feel like I can't keep running.
- I did 83 sit ups in 2:00 ... 2 minutes is really a lot of time. I was having to watch the stop watch and I took more breaks than I probably should have - but I have no doubt I can pump more out later on.
I know I'm getting really strong, but I need to back off the strength training if I ever hope to drop some of the weight I have got to lose.
later.
